A couple of weeks ago I headed up to the Mormon Emigrant Trail in the Sierra Nevada to get into the snow and practice our recovery techniques. We were doing recoveries soon enough, however.
We met online when I was in college, about 12 years ago. At the time I was looking for a partner to join me on winter snowboard trips.
We thought it would be easy.
Looking at the map we figured a quick two or three hour ride and we would be in Arequipa.
Overall, I was impressed with the feel of the vehicle, although I did find I was a little disappointed in the ground clearance; In addition, the suspension travel wasn’t anything to write home about.
