Each year, Vintage Rides brings the vision of motorcycle travel to life by producing an original documentary film centered on heartfelt stories of adventure. In the latest edition (launching October 15), Vintage Rides tour leader Johann Rousselot arrives in Kyrgyzstan and sets off alone on a Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, journeying across the country’s high plateaus and mountain passes. In response to customer demand, Alu-Cab has launched the new ModCap Camper with Tailgate, a new version of the ModCap that allows your vehicle’s OEM tailgate to remain fully functional. A new internal rotating striker lock lets users close, lock, and unlock the camper, whether you’re inside or outside. Additional features include a front window (which restores rearview-mirror visibility), a high-level brake light, and four-bolt removal. Registration is Now Open for the 2027 Rebelle Rally

While this year’s Rebelle Rally is scheduled for takeoff on October 7, hopeful teams can now sign up for the 2027 edition. The 12th edition takes place October 6-16, 2027, and registration is first-come, first-served with limited availability. A certain number of spots are reserved for first-time competitors, returning Rebelles, and corporate teams. Payment plans and gift cards are available, and teams will receive competitor toolkits for training once confirmed.

Cascadia Vehicle Tents Founder Reacquires the Brand

Cascadia Vehicle Tents Co-Founder Bobby Culpepper announced he has reacquired the brand and is working on the next generation of CVT rooftop tents. Culpepper and his wife sold the company to Gathr Outdoors in 2022, but when the opportunity arose to reacquire the brand and assets earlier this year, he jumped on the opportunity. I’m particularly excited to see what’s in store for the brand, as my first rooftop tent was a CVT soft shell that survived two years of Pan-American travel over a decade ago.

BDR Donates $5,000 to Petrolia Volunteer Fire Department

The all-volunteer Petrolia department serves the Mattole Valley in one of the most remote corners of Humboldt County, along a stretch of the Lost Coast BDR-X which, since its launch last year, has become a favorite among riders, bringing more visitors to the region than ever. BDR’s donation will help fund protective gear, radios, and rescue equipment. “Our routes depend on the communities they run through, and we want to give something back to the people who make this region what it is,” said BDR Executive Director Inna Thorn.
