Scout Kenai Pop-up Announced

Scout Kenai Overland Camper

In a week of exciting new announcements, the all-new Scout Kenai Overland Camper is a bright spot. It bring the comfort and spaciousness of their Kenai hard-side camper to the pop-up customer. Pop-top campers have numerous advantage for travelers, including better fuel economy, lower overall height for obstacle clearance, and the ability to pull the vehicle into a high-top container. This model complements their full-size Olympic (for 5.5 foot bed trucks), and is designed for high-capacity full-size trucks with either a 6.5 or 8 foot bed.

The specs on the new Kenai Pop-up are impressive, starting with the minimalist design and low-weight of the composite construction. The tent material was co-developed with GFC and features welded seams, heavy-duty zippers, and the ability to replace the entire tent easily for service. At only 1,300 pounds, the lighter weight allows the camper to even be used on half-ton vehicles (depending on payload).
