Scout Announces Their New Full-Size Olympic Pop-up Camper

Scout Olympic Pop-up Camper

Scout has been turning the overland truck camper market on its head, releasing one new product after another to wide adoption and a blistering sales pace. Personally, I have purchased two Scouts and am testing and configuring my new Yoho Popup for remote travel. The hard-sided Kenai I owned was also durable, lightweight, and spacious. For their latest release, they have announced the Olympic Pop-up camper for full-size trucks with a five or six foot bed. This new camper lists for $29,990.

The construction is similar to other Scouts with composite sides and floor, and in the case of the popup, a hydraulic-assist lifting roof. For overlanders, the lifting roof provides three unique benefits, which includes the ability to containerize most applications for shipping, improved trail and obstacle clearance, and a significant improvement to fuel economy.

For the pop-up, the roof is vacuum infused composite for increased durability, reduced weight, and better weather sealing. The roof lifts with their Easy Rise mechanism that uses a combination of light effort from a solo traveler, leverage, and hydraulic struts. The interior is minimalist and durable with warm materials like wood and earth tone fabrics. Scout new uses an in-house developed power management system with 132 ah of battery (expandable) and 200 watts of solar.

Key Features:

⚡️Easy-lift roof
⚡️ Vacuum-infused composite roof for durability
⚡️Convertible lounge with a flip-top tab
⚡️Panoramic soft-wall windows with a 360-degree field of view
⚡️Eco-friendly bamboo countertops & recycled paper cabinets

While the Scout Olympic Pop-up Camper was just released, you can contact Scout or a local dealer (like Equipt Expedition Outfitters that I bought from in Salt Lake City)
