PCOR, an Australian company (and a division of Patriot campers) has just launched a range of accessories for the ever popular Toyota Tacoma, these products include bed trays and canopies complimented by a range of electronic accessories. The launch coincides with Expedition Overland’s new five part YouTube series ‘The Last Frontier‘, in preparation for the Alaskan adventure, the XO team equipped their Toyota USA Tacoma with a PCOR tray and matching ¾ canopy.
PCOR trays are designed to compliment the capability and aesthetic of touring and overland vehicles. The bends and folds are designed to flow into the cab, giving the four-wheel drive a refined look. The tray system itself has been specifically designed to maintain the vehicle’s departure angle and all PCOR systems are constructed with hard-wearing, lightweight, powder coated aluminum. Features include removable sides, 70L water tank, 75L rear roller draw, adjustable tie down points and central locking tool-boxes. Yes, the tray locks are linked to the vehicles central locking!
PCOR canopies are lightweight, robust, and have been designed to fit the PCOR tray in either half or three quarter configuration. A ½ tray allows both secure storage and open tray deck space for larger items or two ½ canopies could be installed on one tray. A ¾ canopy offers secure storage and allows space on the tray deck for one or two spare tires.
A variety of electrical upgrades are available and a suite of LED lighting and additional electronics are available as options on all PCOR canopies. Lighting and electronics add a layer of functionality to the touring set up and provide confidence while touring in remote locations.
The available optional electronics include a Redarc 1,000 watt inverter, 135 amp-hour gel battery or 100 amp-hour lithium battery, LED lighting suites, a PCOR power module as well as USB and accessory sockets.
The PCOR range is available from Exploration Outfitters
