Mosko Moto Dusty Lizard Campout 

When September 26-28, 2025 | Where Clayton, Idaho

Set along the Salmon River, with access to the Sawtooth and White Cloud mountain ranges, this three-day moto gathering includes live music, food, and beverages, as well as plenty of local riding options, with suggested routes and GPX files provided by Mosko. CruiserFest

When September 6, 2025 | Where Salt Lake City, Utah

The Land Cruiser Heritage Museum will host the 16th annual CruiserFest, a fundraising event to support the curation and accessibility of the world’s only Land Cruiser museum. Presenters include Expedition Overland’s Clay Croft and Expedition Portal’s Scott Brady, who will share adventure stories and lessons from their travels around the globe. The event also offers guided museum tours, educational workshops, food trucks, a new RC Crawler track, and the Show ‘N’ Shine car show.

KTM Adventure Rider Rally

When September 11-13, 2025 | Where Breckenridge, Colorado

The KTM Adventure Rider Rally will return to the Rocky Mountains for its 20th Anniversary edition this September. The event kicks off with the Ready to Race experience, where adventurers begin with a rally on September 11, and shift into ride days on September 12 and 13. Terrain will suit various skill levels, ranging from rocky, technical single-track, and smoother paths for beginners. 

Toyo Tires Trailpass

When September 12-14, 2025 | Where Big Bear, California

Held at a 400-acre private retreat in the San Bernardino Mountains, the Toyo Tires Trailpass gathers the outdoor, off-road, and overlanding communities. Suiting beginners and experienced travelers alike, the event features display vehicles, workshops, camp cooking demos, an outdoor film, and a product giveaway. The event is free and open to the public; however, make sure to pre-register before arrival.

Overland of America

When September 12-14, 2025 | Where Jay, Oklahoma

Held at America’s Outdoor Adventure Park in Jay, Oklahoma, Overland of America promises a weekend of community, adventure, and fun. Barbie Jeep downhill races, guided trail rides, a short film festival, and plenty of activities for kids, including two swimming pools, an arcade, and a playground, mean there’s something for everyone at this year’s event.

Horizons Unlimited Travelers Meeting 

When September 18-21, 2025 | Where Mariposa, California

Planning an international moto trip? From talks to demonstrations, workshops, and Q&A sessions, you’re guaranteed to leave this Horizons Unlimited event feeling inspired, educated, and more prepared for departure. The well-rounded presentation schedule features individuals such as author Sam Manicom, Moto Journalist Christopher Baker, and Nicole Espinosa, whose latest escapades include a mother-daughter island-hopping scooter trip in Greece.

Off-road Expo California

Big Iron Overland Rally

Where September 26-27, 2025 | Where West Mineral, Kansas

Big Iron is a weekend campout and concert experience at the Big Brutus historic landmark in West Mineral, Kansas. Highlights include vehicle display awards, adventure education, and family games and activities. The music lineup features The Juice, a party band that delves into rock, funk, hip-hop, reggae, and more. Make sure to pop by the historic Bucyrus-Erie model 1850-B electric shovel while you’re in the area.

Rendezvous in the Ozarks

When October 16-18, 2025 | Where Ozark National Forest, Arkansas

Held at the Mulberry Mountain Lodge, this overland event features classes and presentations on winching, recovery, vehicle packing, navigation, photography, camp cooking, and other related topics. Participants will test their luck at the Saturday evening prize draw, where over $ 20,000 in rooftop tents, 12-volt fridges, awnings, and other overland essentials will be given away.

Red Clay Rally

When September 5-7, 2025 | Where Appalachia, Eastern United States

The Red Clay Rally is a three-day, time-speed-distance event covering 250 miles of technical off-pavement terrain in the Appalachian region of the eastern USA. The rally format includes unknown checkpoint locations and the use of GPS to set the pace. More than a rally, the event’s competitors have gathered over 4,240 pounds of trash and debris from 4×4 trails since 2017.

Keweenaw Overland Adventure Retreat

When September 11-14, 2025 | Where Trails End Campground, Copper Harbor, Michigan

The Keweenaw Overland Adventure Retreat believes in the power of family, community, and friendship, and has fused these beliefs into its four-day event this fall. The Keweenaw shoreline is the perfect location for paddling or biking, and the event schedule is packed with clinics on astrophotography, first aid, and recovery. Holley Performance Brands Ford Fest

Hosted by Holley Performance Brands, this year’s Ford Fest introduces new programming, expanding a primarily Mustang-focused event into a wider celebration of Ford vehicles. Head to the Short Course at Beech Bend Raceway to watch Broncos, Raptors, and Mustangs tackle the off-road track, while the Bronco Skills Training Area offers seminars and an obstacle course for real-world training.

Barber Vintage Festival

When October 3-5, 2025 | Where Barber Motorsports Park, Birmingham, Alabama

BMW Motorrad Days will celebrate vintage motorcycles at this year’s Barber Vintage Festival held at the Barber Motorsports Park. Attendees will have the chance to demo on- and off-road models, including the R 1300 GS, F 900 GS, R 12, and the fully electric CE 02. In between rides, participants have access to live music, stunt shows, and a police rodeo performance.

ADV Cannonball Run

When October 6-14, 2025 | Where Coast to Coast USA (begins in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina)

The ADV Cannonball is a coast-to-coast motorcycle rally with an emphasis on overland GPS navigation, endurance, preparedness, self-reliance, and rider skill. Navigating by GPX track, competitors will ride on paved and optional unpaved roads to checkpoints, earning points while enjoying a highly curated and painstakingly vetted route. Although this year’s event is currently sold out, the waitlist is open.

Horizons Unlimited Travelers Meeting New York

Held at 4-H Camp Bristol Hills, New York, this Horizons Unlimited travelers meeting provides accessibility to those in New England eastern Canada. The weekend will be filled with presentation and tech clinics, demonstrations, and more. Pizzas on the Piste Overland Event

Part scavenger hunt, part pizza party, Pizzas on the Piste lures travelers to a secret location in the Moroccan desert to meet with like-minded fellow travelers touring North Africa. Badlands Weekender
