Alpha Motor Unveils the NightWolf EV Concept

It is perhaps serendipitous that a motor vehicle manufacturer named Alpha has produced a vehicle with a front end that reminds us of an Alfa Romeo of old, specifically the Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA (to be honest, all the Alpha vehicles remind us of old Alfas). But that is where the similarity ends; this unique electric truck edition is derived from Alpha Motor’s planned mass-produced Wolf truck, focusing on enhancing customization and meeting the evolving demands of truck buyers in the electric mobility era. And it likely won’t break down as often as an old Alfa! We wrote about the Alpha CAMP EV Collaboration concept in November 2022, and the NightWolf seems a similar concept vehicle, slickly rendered to excite us all.

Alpha has reportedly proven the performance of their EV through successful test drives of the Wolf electric truck earlier this year. Now, the company is extending its engineering expertise to NightWolf, targeting outdoor enthusiasts and adventurers while contributing to the goal of a carbon-neutral society.

Alpha Motor Corporation says,

“The Wolf electric truck was successfully driven through the Southern California desert during the summer where temperatures exceeded 100°F degrees. The test drive included driving over rugged terrain, which also demonstrated the truck’s off-road capabilities. Nightwolf speaks to the fun-to-drive personality that is engineered into the Wolf truck, which includes vehicle customization that is user-friendly.”

NightWolf is designed for rugged terrains and challenging off-road conditions, featuring a robust body-on-frame construction with lightweight materials for enhanced efficiency. The placement of the battery central to the vehicle chassis achieves a low center of gravity, improving handling and responsiveness for thrilling off-road journeys.

One of NightWolf’s key features is its focus on customization and flexibility. Alpha aims to empower users to tailor their electric vehicles to meet individual requirements and preferences, promoting a more personalized and user-centric approach to electric vehicle ownership. The vehicle is designed to accommodate aftermarket component integration, allowing users to customize it for various outdoor activities, including camping and overlanding.

Incorporating advanced solar panels, the Solar-Powered Truck Cap is a notable addition to NightWolf. These panels are adjustable to maximize sunlight absorption, potentially extending the electric truck’s daily range by about 15-20 miles and reducing the need for frequent charging. NightWolf also features innovations from industry-leading brands in automotive and outdoor gear. Roof-mounted rugged cases from Roam Adventure Co. provide versatile storage solutions, and 17-inch Black Rhino Atlas wheels enhance performance over rugged terrain. KC Hi-Lites power the lighting system, featuring a combination of 7-inch Gravity LED headlamps and Gravity LED Pro6 auxiliary lights. The NightWolf also includes the Delta Pro Shovel by DMOS Collective.

Patrick Frits, Marketing Manager, Roam Adventure Co. said,

“You shouldn’t have to worry about getting your gear from point A to point B. The rooftop-mounted Rugged Cases make it easy to store all your essential gear safely on top of your vehicle and maximize the space you have to enjoy down below.”

Alpha Motor Corporation recognizes the changing dynamics of the electric vehicle market, where a broad spectrum of consumers seeks sustainability and versatility. NightWolf is Alpha’s response to this shift, catering to eco-conscious customers who desire adventure and off-road capability in their electric vehicles.

The Wolf Truck starts at $36,000, but the NightWolf, loaded with accessories, will likely be significantly more expensive.
