Toyota Unveils Tundra 1794 Limited Edition at State Fair of Texas

Amid the Lone Star State’s grand State Fair, Toyota took the wraps off a new premium Tundra offering, the Tundra 1794 Limited Edition. Building on the solid foundation of the third-generation Tundra, which debuted just a few years ago, Toyota introduced the 1794 Limited Edition for the 2024 model year. The Toyota Tundra has been in production in the United States since May 1999. It holds the distinction of being the first full-size pickup from a Japanese manufacturer to be manufactured in North America.

The Tundra was previously nominated for the prestigious North American Truck of the Year award and earned the title of Motor Trend magazine’s Truck of the Year in 2000 and 2008. Initially, it was produced in a newly established Toyota facility in Princeton, Indiana. However, in 2008, production operations were consolidated at Toyota’s factory in San Antonio, Texas. This latest 1794 Tundra is named after the ranch upon which Toyota’s San Antonio plant stands. This unique edition enhances both the interior luxury and off-road capabilities.

Tundra enthusiasts have long celebrated the ruggedness of their trucks, and this special edition adds an extra layer of exclusivity with a production limited to just 1,500 units. The 1794 Limited Edition retains the essentials of the 1794 Tundra grade, including the Crew Max cab, 5.5-foot bed, four-wheel drive, and the standard I-Force Max powertrain.

The standout feature of the 1794 Limited Edition is its premium leather interior, crafted in collaboration with the esteemed Saddleback Leather Company, a Texas-based powerhouse. The leather, meticulously selected for its quality, durability, and style, delivers a tactile and visual experience that will impress.

Beyond the lavish interior, engineers have upgraded the Tundra’s performance with Fox suspension and an off-road-oriented wheel and tire combination. The addition of 2.5-inch-diameter Fox Internal Bypass shocks, equipped with piggyback reservoirs, and a 1.1-inch lift enhances the truck’s stance and elevates its off-road prowess.

Distinctive exterior enhancements complete the package, including a dark chrome grille, body side moldings, blacked-out accents, a unique stamped tailgate, and an embossed label inside, denoting the truck’s exclusive status among the 1,500 units.

The Tundra 1794 Limited Edition is set to hit dealerships in the spring of 2024, offering a choice of colors, including Wind Chill Pearl, Midnight Black Metallic, Blueprint, and Smoked Mesquite.
