The Vagabund Lada Niva :: Drool

The Lada Niva is timeless, pulling the heartstrings of overlanders around the globe. I have seen them in the most remote regions of Russia, Iceland, and even Kyrgyzstan. Essentially, they are the Jeep Eagle of Russia, and they are as cool as hell.

Vagabund Moto clearly sees them as legit as well, having recently completed a proper overland version of the classic 3-door Lada model. Their modifications are complete with a modest suspension lift, mud-terrain tires, and a full-length rack. In some thoughtful design cues, they deleted the front bumper and pulled in a simple gray and black scheme. With the exploding popularity of the new Jimny, it is fun to see other micro-overlanders represented in the creative space.
