SylvanSport Announces Loft Hard Shell Roof Top Tent

There is a new, well-established player in the hard shell roof top tent (RTT) market, and with a well below average unit cost (and limited period of free shipping to the US Lower 48), this attractive, rapid set up roof tent is sure to be in high demand.

The Loft RTT is available in any color as long as that color is green, features an anti-condensation mat to increase airflow and moisture absorption, a thick mattress for comfort, four large openings with high-density screen mesh for airflow and privacy, and weather panels to control ventilation and keep the bugs at bay. The tent sets up and packs down in a claimed thirty seconds or less, assisted by four hydraulic assist arms (see video here). What more could we ask for? Well, a rechargeable fan/light combination system seals the deal. A built-in fan, praise be!

A hard shell, compact roof top tent is an incredibly versatile product that can be mounted on your ultimate overland vehicle for off-the-beaten-track adventure, a SylvanSport kayak trailer, or your Scooby for long-distance trips, eventually saving you a fortune on hotel and motel costs. The Loft RTT is designed for simplicity and is spacious and durable with high-quality, molded, composite ABS shell and heavy-duty fabric sides. Aerodynamic and lightweight, the hard shell roof tent does not offer the space and relative comfort of a traditional fold open roof tent, but what the SylvanSport two-person tent lacks in space, it makes up for with ease of use and convenience. The bedding can be left inside the tent for transit.

The Loft RTT measures 82.6 x 50.7 x 11-inches closed, 82.6 x 50.7 x 41.3-inches open, and weighs 116.8-pounds placing this tent firmly within the compact hard shell RTT range at a lower weight.

SylvanSport was founded in 2004 to make outdoor adventure accessible via an innovative pop-up camper and a lineup of award-winning adventure trailers, outdoor gear, and camping accessories. SylvanSport stands by its product with a manufacturer’s warranty and boasts a network of dealers across the USA, Canada, and as far afield as Germany and Korea.

MSRP is $2,795 with free delivery in the Lower 48 (limited period offer).

N.B. You can learn why SylvanSport is expanding into this market, as well as how the Loft pairs perfectly with the Go Easy kayak trailer at one of their upcoming virtual showcases on August 17 at 2 pm EST and August 23 at 11 am EST (will last no longer than 30 minutes).
