Material Facts display detailed, easy-to-understand information about recycled content, fluorocarbon status, and product details. Roofnest Announces New Sparrow Rooftop Tents
The Sparrow 2 series features an internally reinforced ABS topshell with standard Line-X coating, thicker 320gsm tent material with blackout coating, and HVAC ports for four-season camping and electrical pass-through. Triumph Launches Active Preload Reduction on 1200 Models
In other overland news, Triumph Motorcycles has released an enhancement to its Showa semi-active suspension, which is available across the current Tiger 1200 range. This Active Preload Reduction feature was designed to lower the resting seat height by reducing rear suspension preload as the bike slows. Triumph Chief Product Officer Steve Sargent says this option will offer riders more confidence at slow speeds and better contact with the ground as they come to a stop. Available to new Tiger 1200 owners and existing 2023 models via a software update, the minimum preload feature will be accessible by pressing the ‘Home’ button on the right switch cube for one second.
Bilstein Debuts B8 TerraSport Shocks for CUVs
Intended to increase ground clearance and improve the off-pavement capability of crossover utility vehicles, Bilstein’s new B8 TerraSport direct-fit shocks feature 1 to 2 inches of lift and digressive valving with the option to align vehicles to factory specifications. Highlights include increased ground clearance, direct fit, and easy installation, and the ability to react to changing surface conditions. Shocks are valved and tuned for specific makes and models, including various Subaru, Toyota, and Ford models, which will launch throughout 2024. In the meantime, current product availability includes the 2015 to 2020 Jeep Renegade, 2013 to 2018 Toyota RAV4, and various Subaru models.
