Overland Classifieds :: 2020 Ram 2500 Laramie Crew Cab Off-Road Edition

The Ram 2500 is undoubtedly one of the most popular full-size trucks on our forum, with recent examples including this 2020 6.7-liter Diesel, a 2022 w/CampX Camper, and a 2017 w/BunduTecUSA Flatbed Camper. The 2500 was shortlisted for Overland Journal’s Full-Size Truck of the year and has been documented as a project vehicle on the Expedition Portal YouTube channel. Durable and powerful motors, generous payload and towing capacity, comfortable interiors, accessibility to OEM and aftermarket parts, accessories, and services, and impressive capability are just some of the reasons the 2500 is so desirable. If you’d like a better idea of how this truck can be outfitted for long-term travel, check out Matt Swartz’s feature piece on Anders’ 2001 Turbo-Diesel Cummins Ram 2500. Today’s 2020 model has to be the most impressive to date with almost every option from the factory including the Off-Road Package, premium aftermarket modifications, and an exceptionally well-equipped Four Wheel Campers Raven. At $105,000 this is not an inexpensive vehicle but it represents great value when you consider this comparable 2021 6.4-Hemi w/ FWC Camper is priced at $152,000.

From the Seller:

Due to a torn rotator cuff (lifting the top of the FWC Raven is now an issue) and looking at surgery, I am selling my 2020 Ram and 2021 Raven that I built up this past year. I built this truck to travel to Alaska after my trip to Overland Expo in Flagstaff, Arizona. I am open to selling my 2021 FWC Raven, separate from my Ram truck.”

The 2500 is fitted with a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 that produces 410 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque. A stalwart, albeit thirsty, motor is matched with excellent go-anywhere performance, thanks to Ram’s optional Off-Road Package. This uprates the already capable truck with five-link rear and three-link front coil suspension, low range, Bilstein monotube shocks, Hill Descent Control, and a rear limited slip differential. Today’s 2500 showcases almost every option with driver comforts that include:

  • Uconnect with 12-inch display, navigation, and premium Alpine speakers and subwoofer
  • Heated and ventilated leather-trimmed bucket seats and leather-wrapped heated steering wheel
  • Surround-view camera system
  • Power sunroof
  • Remote keyless entry and start

Distinguishing Features

  • Method Racing wheels with Nitto Recon Grappler A/T tires
  • Rigid Industries and Baja Designs lighting
  • Fab Fours front and rear bumper
  • Four Wheel Campers Raven
  • Two Chins 100-amp-hour lithium batteries with 360 watts of solar
  • Dometic forced air heater
  • Fiamma F45S awning
