Overland Classifieds :: 2020 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Diesel w/ Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

The Chevrolet Colorado is not a regular on our forum, with mid-sized alternatives like the Toyota Tacoma, Jeep Gladiator, and Ford Ranger being more popular. However, that’s not to say the Colorado is inferior when it comes to vehicle travel, with the ZR2 variant offering many desirable features. Benefits include the choice of two dependable motors, a 3.6-liter V6 petrol and a 2.8-liter Duramax diesel, fantastic 4WD capability, and a well-equipped interior. Furthermore, while the ZR2 edition is a brilliant go-anywhere truck, there is an optional hardcore “Bison” edition available. This model further uprates the ZR2 with steel bumpers, additional armor, AEV wheels, Goodyear Wrangler Territory M/T tires, improved approach and departure angles, and more. We’ve featured a couple of adventure-ready Bison editions, including this 2020 Diesel and a 2020 w/ Super Pacific Camper. Today’s ZR2 model has covered 49,000 miles, incorporates tasteful modifications and accessories, and is topped with a desirable Alu-Cab canopy camper.

From the Seller:

I love this rig, and it’s provided me with some amazing adventures. But I have MS that’s a little on the progressive side, and thus there are some times when I struggle to have the flexibility to climb up in it. So I am going to order a Sprinter and have it built to make life a little easier. I’ve not had any issues with the truck with the exception of a sensor on the exhaust for the DEF. The dealership replaced the entire exhaust and all the sensors. No accidents, but there are a few pinstripes that I’m sure could be buffed out.”

2020 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Diesel

The Colorado ZR2 is fitted with a 2.8 Duramax turbodiesel motor that produces 186 horsepower, 369-pound feet of torque, and returns a combined 19 mpg. It’s worth noting that while the official highway economy is listed at 22 mpg there are many owners reporting closer to 30 mpg on a run, which is impressive. A torquey yet economical engine is mated with rugged go-anywhere performance, thanks to 4WD, 2-inch lift, low-range, front and rear locking differentials, rock sliders, Multimatic Dynamic Suspensions spool valve technology, fender flares, and more. These rugged credentials are balanced with interior comforts that include:

  • Remote keyless entry
  • Infotainment system with navigation, 8-inch
  • Heated and powered front seats
  • Heated steering wheel
  • Climate control
  • Rearview camera
  • Cruise control

Distinguishing Features

  • Alu-Cab Canopy Camper
  • CBI front bumper, skids, and rear dual swing out bumper
  • Prinsu roof rack
  • Alu-Cab Shadow awning, 270-degree
  • Diode Dynamics lighting

This 2020 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Diesel with Alu-Cab Canopy Camper is listed for $57,000 and is currently located in Collinsville, Oklahoma. Check the full vehicle specifications via the original Expedition Portal forum post here.
