Overland Classifieds :: 2018 Lexus GX460

Overlanding and luxury don’t often go hand-in-hand, but there are some vehicles that provide the best of both worlds. I have to admit I was a bit of a latecomer to Lexus’ line-up of 4WDs and largely considered them luxury run-arounds rather than legitimate overland vehicles. However, I realized the error of my ways after watching Scott Brady put Overland Journal’s Lexus GX470 project vehicle through its paces on Expedition Portal’s YouTube channel. Since then, I’ve become a fan and have featured a number of adventure-ready examples, including this 2005 GX470, a 2009 LX570, and a heavily modified 2018 GX460. Today’s 2018 GX460 is another stunning example, showcasing just over 50,000 miles, a long list of premium modifications and accessories, and priced at $52,000 OBO.

From the Seller:

Sadly, the time has come to sell our beloved GX. We’re only selling because we needed something with more towing capacity for our camper, so we picked up an F-150. All of the following modifications have been installed within the past six months. The lift was professionally installed by a local Toyota shop called TRU Automotive. My wife and I both have work vehicles, so the GX was a weekend warrior, and subsequently I’ve only covered 4,000 miles in it since we purchased it in January, 2022. Lastly, we do have a loan on it, so we will need to work that out if you decide to purchase it. Clean Carfax, no accidents or salvage title.”
