Overland Classifieds :: 2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser 4WD Manual

The Toyota FJ Cruiser was a huge hit when unveiled at the Detroit Motor Show in 2003, and despite the concept being almost 20 years old, it still looks contemporary and purposeful. The Cruiser doesn’t just have the looks to match its modern-day rivals but also demonstrates go-anywhere performance, making it both a unique and desirable overland platform.

We’ve listed several expedition-equipped examples on our forum, including this $27,500 2007 Supercharged AT Cruiser, a $36,000 2008 FJ Cruiser, and a $37,000 Overland Ready FJ. Today’s original owner offering has covered just 71,000 miles, features many desirable modifications, and is priced at $55,000.

From the Seller:

“This has been an amazing truck for camping and trips around the west coast. Sadly I am parting with it because I no longer have the time to enjoy it. I am the original owner [and] have all service receipts for the truck; if any are missing, they are available through the dealer I took it to for every service it had. The truck modifications were done by Mudrak Custom Cruisers in NorCal. The dual battery system and recovery point were installed by TopLine Performance in Huntington Beach.”

2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser 4WD Manual

The FJ Cruiser is fitted with a V6 motor that produces 260 horsepower, 271 pound-feet of torque, and returns a combined 18 mpg. On-road, the FJ Cruiser keeps up with traffic comfortably and will accelerate to 60 mph in under 8 seconds, which is impressive considering the size. However, when the tarmac ends, the FJ comes to life, thanks to a body-on-frame design, full-time 4WD, factory rear e-locker, four-link rear suspension, coil springs, and Toyota’s intelligent A-Trac traction control system. The interior is also 4WD focused with washable rubber materials, a three-gauge cluster with inclinometer, compass, and temperature, and features oversized controls for use with gloves.
