Overland Classifieds :: 2013 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road w/ Custom Camper

I know. It’s another Tacoma. Don’t shoot the messenger! The phrase, “If you can’t beat them, join them,” comes to mind. Love or hate this truck, I can honestly say that despite featuring numerous expedition-equipped examples and reading countless online owner reviews, I’ve yet to come across a single horror story. I’m not suggesting the Tacoma is perfect by any stretch, but its performance and reliability as a daily workhorse are commendable. A few recent overland builds include this 1997 4×4 w/ FWC, a 2009 w/ Madcap Cab-Over Camper, and a 2016 TRD Off-Road w/ FWC Fleet Flatbed. The stock Tacoma is a rugged vehicle, but if you want maximum capability, source one with the optional TRD (Toyota Racing Development) Off-Road package. This adds a plethora of all-terrain features, including a locking rear differential. Finally, if you’re planning on a full camper setup, then you’ll likely exceed the gross vehicle weight (GVW), in which case, I’d recommend the full-size Tundra, which is also a fantastic truck. Today’s one-owner Tacoma has covered 122,000 miles and incorporates premium modifications and a custom camper box.

From the Seller:

The vehicle is in great shape. The paint does have pinstriping and a few scrapes. The suspension has some squeaks and creaks. I use this truck off-road, but I am careful about how I use and maintain it. I have a lot of threads on Tacoma World documenting the build if you’re interested. There has been a ton of heart and soul put into this truck, and it has taken me to some very cool places. The camper was built specifically to be tough, light, capable, and it’s been just that. I’m happy to answer any questions.”
