Overland Classifieds :: 2008 Ford E-350 Quad Van 4×4

The Ford E-350 is a popular choice amongst overlanders, with recent examples including this monster 1995 E-350 Bigfoot Camper and a 2013 Sportsmobile V10. With 70,000 miles, today’s offering is one of the most impressive to date, showcasing a custom Morey Industries high-top, premium camper conversion, and a Quad Van 4WD conversion with a Timberline Coilover Kit. This is not just one of the nicest E-350 builds I’ve seen but one of the most impressive overland rigs I’ve ever featured. At $119,000, it’s not a cheap vehicle, but it is fairly priced considering the build specifications and will make a fantastic year-round, go-anywhere home on wheels.

From the Seller:

The van was designed around extreme exploration and ultimate comfort. Originally a low mileage 4×4 E-350 passenger van in Northern California, it was then stripped down to the core, re-engineered, Cad-designed, and professionally rebuilt into the camper you see today. The van is standard length but packs a ton of features into a compact and powerful package. The shorter wheelbase allows you to go anywhere and make tight maneuvers. With a robust solar/lithium system, heating system, independent off-grid A/C, indoor and outdoor kitchens, and true off-road suspension, this van is incredibly well-suited for a lot of adventures.”

The E-350 is fitted with a 5.4-liter Triton V8 that produces 255 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. A long-lived motor is matched with impressive go-anywhere capability thanks to Quad Van’s 4×4 conversion. Based in Portland, Oregon, the company adapted Ford’s F-350 4WD suspension system to fit the E-350, which improves turning radius, increases ground clearance, uprates braking, and more. Quad Van does all this using “more factory Ford components than anybody else in the industry,” thus utilizing original mounting locations, preserving crush zones, and maintaining the factory warranty.
