Overland Classifieds :: 1995 Ford E350 Super Duty Class C Bigfoot C20RK

Econoline vans have been around since the ’60s and are an extremely popular platform for campervan conversions, that is if you can get ahold of one. In 2015 the Transit replaced the Econoline passenger van, leaving the cutaway and stripped chassis as the only Econoline option for buyers wanting a new vehicle. But regardless of that fact, there are some really cool used rigs out there that are built on the Econoline platform, like this 1995 E350 Super Duty class c Bigfoot RV.

Built in Canada and constructed with R12-rated foam-injected fibercore walls, this rig was made to handle cold weather. Utilizing a 25K BTU propane heater, the current owner reports that despite venturing to frigid environments, they have never experienced any frozen pipes, drains, or water tanks, and have never even had cold feet! Outfitted with an extensive collection of off-highway lighting, equipment storage, upgraded axles, suspension, and more, this classic rig is more than ready to take on big overland adventures with a new owner.

From the Seller

“We built this rig with the intention of the forever travel vehicle. Go anywhere, do anything, at the drop of a hat! And, for a very long time, that’s exactly what it was for my wife (and I) plus our two children.”

“Here we are seven years later with countless memories of our own, and almost every dream box checked off! From the sleepless nights of building and planning, to the trips to vendors and craftsmen. Travels through the sub-zero temps, snow-cover ground with high elevations, to hot dry desserts of endless sand and the views up and down the coastlines. The whole experience has been a full-on epic journey. We added about 40K miles to the block over our course. And whether it be paved road, washboard side roads, or full-on 4WD, I can almost recall every minute of every mile.”

“It was the most efficient and cheapest way for us to explore the entire country over the past years. And every amount of money spent on the build, on the road, or at our destinations, was money very well spent! Memories made, amazing people met, incredible experiences from wildlife to car accidents, and aiding those with catastrophic failure.”

1995 Ford E350 Super Duty Class C Bigfoot c20RK

This is a very unique rig that was originally upfitted by Bigfoot RV in BC, Canada. Since then, it has had additional work completed by Ujoint Offroad (see video below). While I wasn’t able to find much information regarding this specific vehicle (only a handful were ever made), the E-series chassis that it is built on is well-known and has been around since the ’60s. Even though this rig is 27 years old, it is still considered part of the 4th generation of Econoline vans.
