Overland Classifieds :: 1999 Mitsubishi Montero Overland Ready

Undoubtedly, Japanese car manufacturers have produced some of the most reliable vehicles ever made, and today’s Montero is no exception. This sought-after Mitsubishi offers many of the same attributes as the Land Cruiser: everyday dependability, excellent build quality, and impressive all-terrain capability—yet it can be purchased for a fraction of the price.

We’ve featured a number of iconic overland-ready Japanese vehicle builds recently, including this $55,000 78-Series Troop Carrier, a $150,000 Mitsubishi Fuso 4×4 Camper, and a $19,000 2001 Nissan Patrol. Today’s Montero is a bargain $11,900, an amazing value considering that it features Mitsubishi’s desirable Winter Package, tasteful modifications and accessories, and an undercarriage that’s clean and free of rust.
