Expedition Overland Announces Launch of New Overlander Network

After 10 years of publishing episodic content through platforms including YouTube and Amazon Prime Video, Expedition Overland is reimagining their distribution strategy, finding their home on the subscription video platform special.tv, where they have launched the all-new Overlander Network.

The Crofts envision expanding the Overlander Network to include other overlanding filmmakers, adventure travelers, and storytellers. “There are many incredible people out in the world with unique and inspiring stories to share about their travels. We would be honored to be a part of that. This also opens up many additional projects we have been wanting to do, such as diverse adventures and special films that may not fit within the XOverland brand,” said co-founder Rachelle Croft.

Expedition Overland’s past seasons launched on special.tv’s platform on September 12, along with the first episode of their all-new Baja Special series. New releases will continue to premiere on special.tv exclusively, and will go live on YouTube roughly 30 days thereafter. XOverland will continue to share past and future content via their YouTube channel.

Our No Compromise Clause: We carefully screen all contributors to make sure they are independent and impartial. We never have and never will accept advertorial, and we do not allow advertising to influence our product or destination reviews.

Ashley Giordano completed a 48,800-kilometer overland journey from Canada to Argentina with her husband, Richard, in their well-loved but antiquated Toyota pickup. On the zig-zag route south, she hiked craggy peaks in the Andes, discovered diverse cultures in 15 different countries, and filled her tummy with spicy ceviche, Baja fish tacos, and Argentinian Malbec. As Senior Editor at Overland Journal, you can usually find Ashley buried in a pile of travel books, poring over maps, or writing about the unsung women of overlanding history. @desktoglory_ash
