Dometic GO, the Camping Collection You Have Been Waiting For

The recently launched Dometic GO range attracted us at the bustling SEMA 2021 Dometic stall with its handsome, masculine functionality, clean lines, and premium quality design. We were fortunate enough to spend time with the Dometic Product Manager–Outdoor, Owen Mesdag, who took the time to show us the Dometic GO pre-production range. We did not have the opportunity to test the products prior to launch, except for the Compact Camp Chair, which we have used continuously over the last few months, from Seattle to Central Mexico. It is one of the best camping chairs we have ever used; lightweight, durable, comfortable, and attractive. If the rest of the range is as successful in its functionality and design intent, we are collectively in for a treat.

Made with lightweight materials and intelligent design for easy packing, the new collection equips the casual vehicle-based traveler or serious overlander for long days on the trail and nights around the campfire. Dometic GO reduces packing time and removes the obstacles involved with preparing to hit the road and take on an outdoor adventure. The collection is created for “Vehicle-Based Adventure,” where people use their daily cars as a base camp for outdoor activities; we would not hesitate to use this range on a round-the-world journey. Designed to fit into the back of a mid-size SUV or vehicle, this new collection will transform any vehicle into a base camp in minutes.

The Dometic GO 2022 Collection includes:

Hydration Water Jug: The stack-able jug holds 11 liters and features a standard 63mm Nalgene style opening which adds to the product’s versatility. Two jugs fit into a standard jerry can holder and provide an efficient way to store, transport, and use water around camp. Multiple dispensing options are built-in, including two openings for easy filling, dispensing, and cleaning.
