2013 Land Rover Discovery LR4 w/ HD Package :: Classifieds

Land Rover Discovery LR4

The Land Rover Discovery is a great choice for travel, with recent offerings including this 1999, 2001, and 2008. Despite stellar overlanding credentials, it remains something of an underappreciated value. It can be had for a fraction of the price of the coveted Defender (which makes it an impressive bargain when you consider that new it would’ve set you back the best part of $60,000). Further still, while the latter is undoubtedly a pinnacle overland platform, it’s not without its flaws, and for everyday driveability, the LR4 is superior. The Discovery carries forward many of the same rugged attributes but introduces lavish interior comfort and enough power to keep up with modern traffic. To this end, cue today’s 2013 Land Rover LR4 (106,000 miles), which boasts the desirable V8 motor, the factory HD package, and a selection of tasteful aftermarket modifications. If you’d like a better understanding of how this 4WD can be outfitted for exploration, then check out adventure-ready builds from the likes of Kasper Hoglund, The Loam Ranger, and Main Line Overland

Land Rover Discovery LR4From the Seller:

“A great condition LR4 with the desirable V8, which is much better than the V6 in the 2014-2016 models. The timing chain, water pump, spark plugs, valve cover gaskets, and coolant pipes were replaced at 87,671 miles. In addition, it had a new serpentine belt, drive belt tensioner, and idler pulley at 101,216 miles. Clean title in hand, oil change just performed, and in excellent mechanical condition with no leaks. I can help arrange shipping anywhere in the USA for a great price.
