2004 Isuzu NPR 4×4 :: Classifieds

Isuzu NPR

Isuzu may not receive the same level of attention within the segment as industry giants Toyota, Nissan, and Mitsubishi, but many consider the company to be setting the benchmark for reliability and build quality. This is certainly the case for the NPR 4×4, which is why EarthCruiser made the decision to switch from the Mitsubishi Fuso to the Isuzu as their primary expedition truck chassis. It’s a popular choice on our forum but comes at a premium price point with recent examples, including this $125,000 2017, a $135,000 2015, and a $450,000 2019. However, there are still bargains out there, and today’s 2004 Isuzu NPR (191,000 miles) is a great example. At $33,000 OBO, this rig represents impressive value, showcasing tasteful modifications, a 4WD conversion, and a camper body. This package could be enjoyed in its current configuration or could be further uprated for full-time living or a long-term trip. If you’re in the market for an affordable overland truck with generous payload, 4WD capability, and fabled Japanese reliability, then look no further.

 From the Seller:

One-of-a-kind 4WD camper conversion! This is a cool, comfortable, and quiet build that will make you new friends everywhere you go. It’s the perfect rig for starting vanlife, as a weekend warrior or the ultimate bugout vehicle. The truck runs comfortably down the highway and manages trails with ease. It’s titled, registered, and insured as a motorhome. Runs and drives amazingly, fits in standard parking spots, and returns, on average, 16 mpg. The build was finished in early 202,4 and the 4WD conversion was completed later that year. Full fiberglass body including roof and floor, nicely insulated so it stays warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
