2021 Ram 2500 Mega Cab AEV Prospector XL :: Classifieds

AEV Prospector

I appreciate modern vehicles, but generally, my heart belongs to classic rigs. There’s a distinct magic, charisma, and adventurous spirit to these old-timers that car manufacturers struggle to emulate in their current offerings. However, there are some outliers, and I’d argue that the AEV Prospector is one of them. The Prospector is a truck I’d have pinned to my wall as a teen and is one of a select few modern pickups that I consider as cool as the pinnacle overland platforms we know and love. It’s a favorite on our forum with recent examples, including this 2015, 2016 Power Wagon, and 2022 AEV Prospector XL w/ OEV Camp X. It’s also a favorite with the Expedition Portal team. According to Chris Cordes, “Like everything AEV builds, the Prospector is refined, perfectly executed, and represents the best possible version of a Ram Truck. The AEV components mesh with the OEM product perfectly. It is not only a striking truck to behold, it performs flawlessly” (check out the full review here). From the Seller:

The Prospector is an amazing truck, and I have owned just about everything! These trucks drive amazingly and are built very well. AEV does a great job with attention to detail. I just don’t have the time to use it. I’m hoping someone else can enjoy this epic truck. Spare tire and mount are included in the sale.”
