BFGoodrich Releases New Off-road Wiper Blades

What’s more off-road than BFGoodrich T/A KO2 tires? How about BFGoodrich off-road wiper blades! If you have a confused look on your face, don’t worry, I was a little perplexed as well. Here’s the deal: BFGoodrich has built quite the reputation with their KO2 all-terrain tire, and now they’re taking a stab at wiper blades.

But, as you can see, these are not your standard wiper blades, at least not at face value. A bold-looking off-road tire tread facade (which was inspired by the KO2 tread) has been slapped right onto the front of the wipers, along with the familiar BFGoodrich logo in contrasting white. And while the “look” appears to be primarily cosmetic, BFG describes some of the functional features which sound promising:

Scrub-X Extreme Weather Performance – Water-repellant technology is utilized to repel water and dirt from the blade cover.

X-Flex Suspension – Ensure complete windshield contact across the entirety of the wiper blade.

Heavy-duty Design – A durable rubber element that is made for off-road driving.

This fancy pair of blades will set you back about $80, and at that price, I’m hoping that they are really good at what they do.
