Tiger Adventure Vehicles, established in 1986, has spent almost 40 years building adventure-ready overland vehicles and continues to be one of the most respected names in the segment. With this in mind, the company has something of a cult following with recent offerings including this $38,765 2005 Chevrolet Silverado Tiger CX, a $65,000 2008 Ford F-350 Tiger Bengal, and a $79,500 2013 Chevrolet 3500HD Tiger Bengal. However, at $22,000 today’s 1994 Chevrolet 2500 HD Provan Tiger CX (236,000) is the best value we’ve found to date and would serve as the ideal budget-friendly rig to hit the road with this summer. This Tiger has been a rolling home for the current owner for the past 14 years, and during that time, it racked up 124,000 miles with memories to last a lifetime. Needless to say, it has wanted for nothing and is sold with meticulous service records and a plethora of spare parts (see full details here). From the Seller:
“The Provan Tiger CX is a motorhome built on a Chevrolet HD 2500 heavy-duty pickup chassis cab. It has a pass-through from the cab to the cabin, complete off-grid RV comforts, and true 4×4 off-road capabilities. We’ve traveled full time in this camper for 14 years. The size versus capacity is unique: bumper to end of box is 22 feet long. With a short wheel base and a height of only nine feet, it is easily maneuvered into tight, out-of-the-way camp spots. The interior layout is extremely comfortable and spacious for such a small RV. The huge aluminum box on the back provides an enormous space for outdoor gear/tools and also serves as a platform for a bike rack. We have many of the original records from the first two owners and have records for everything while we have owned it, including every gallon of diesel purchased. The solar/electrical system was completely renovated in 2011 with upgrades over the years. The interior was completely renovated in 2015. We can also load the Tiger on a shipping truck arranged by the buyer.”
