Work Sharp Quest: Find $1000’s in free gear hidden across the US this summer

Work Sharp Tools, purveyors of blade sharpening and honing equipment, have announced an intriguing challenge for you adventurous types this summer. It’s a real-world scavenger hunt that takes place across the US called the Work Sharp Quest.

In a nutshell, Work Sharp has hidden 40 waterproof Yeti cases, each filled with approximately $1000 in outdoor gear, on public lands across the United States. To help you with the hunt, they are periodically releasing clues as to the whereabouts of these treasures as well as maps on their Instagram account @worksharptools.

Two of the Yeti cases that were hidden have already been located, one in California and one in Wisconsin. But with more than 30 treasure chests undiscovered, there’s a chance that you could still find one, that is, if you can decipher the clues and navigate to the elusive X on the map. Good luck.
