Klim—New and Redesigned Women’s Motorcycle Jackets

The female rider is no stranger to the difficulties of finding woman-designed motorcycle apparel. I’m always excited to see the industry is realizing the need for gear tailored to the female form, and Klim is one such manufacturer recognizing that need (though the jackets still focus on street riders, and not the ADV/off-roading ladies, but, hey, you gotta start somewhere).

WOMEN’S MARRAKESH JACKET

The Women’s Marrakesh is a warm-weather jacket made of soft, flexible fabric where casual style and comfort are top priorities–but not at the expense of road protection. The Women’s Marrakesh in particular has been a hot topic since we released the original Marrakesh, so we’re proud to finally have this jacket for female riders.

The new Women’s Marrakesh Jacket is built entirely out of a very comfortable, flexible stretch nylon material. KLIM calls it Karbonite™ Micromesh, a stretchy material with an open weave, and it allows for controlled airflow and comfort in a wide range of temperatures. Armor protection is provided by new D3O® IP Ghost pads, which are extremely low profile and flexible while achieving CE Level 1 impact protection performance. Fully street-ready protection features also make this jacket CE AA-rated, meaning KLIM didn’t compromise street safety in the name of comfort and style.

KLIM also boldly claims the new Women’s Marrakesh Jacket could be the most comfortable motorcycle jacket on the market. This addition to the KLIM women’s line has been widely anticipated since the introduction of the men’s Marrakesh in 2018.

AVALON JACKET

The redesigned Avalon Jacket will set the bar for women’s mesh touring jackets, with massive airflow for hot weather and ample abrasion protection. KLIM has upgraded the Karbonite™ Mesh body fabric to increase flexibility and comfort while maintaining the legendary durability it became known for. New stretch panels and a new collar design further improve comfort. Also CE AA-rated, the Avalon Jacket is comparable to the redesigned men’s Induction Jacket recently released for 2021 as well.

The Avalon Jacket is our most hot-weather-friendly women’s jacket, now redesigned with comfort improvements across the board.
