raptor

Behind every fallen or injured soldier lies a family profoundly impacted by the loss. Non-profit organization Folds of Honor provides educational scholarships to military survivors to help the spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service members. To support these families, Folds of Honor is offering the chance to win a Ford F-150 Raptor. Equipped with the Raptor 37 Performance Package, this truck includes 17-inch beadlock-capable forged wheels, 37-inch tires, a Twin Panel moonroof, Recaro front seats, a Bang & Olufsen sound system, and Fox Racing shocks.

The Ford F-150 Raptor features a 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost engine, 10-speed automatic transmission, 510 pound-feet of torque, and 450 horsepower. Rhapsody Blue complements a Lead Foot Grey exterior on the interior. An extended range 36-gallon fuel tank takes drivers into the remote stretches of the country, while the 8,200-pound towing capacity offers the opportunity to haul what your heart desires. The approximate retail value is estimated at $83,525.

No donation or payment is necessary to enter or win the sweepstakes, but popular contributions range from $13 to $195. The contest closes on Saturday, June 11, 2022. To enter, visit omaze.com/products/ford-raptor.

Ashley Giordano completed a 48,800-kilometer overland journey from Canada to Argentina with her husband, Richard, in their well-loved but antiquated Toyota pickup. On the zig-zag route south, she hiked craggy peaks in the Andes, discovered diverse cultures in 15 different countries, and filled her tummy with spicy ceviche, Baja fish tacos, and Argentinian Malbec. As Senior Editor at Overland Journal, you can usually find Ashley buried in a pile of travel books, poring over maps, or writing about the unsung women of overlanding history. @desktoglory_ash
