Video of the Week: Rivian R1T Shredding the Trails

If the name Rivian doesn’t mean anything to you yet, do yourself a favor and read up on them right here. But for those of you who have been following along eagerly with the development of their incredibly slick-looking electric vehicles, we’ve got a great video of the week for you. This is the R1T, Rivian’s fully-electric, 400+ mile range, quad-motor, 750 horsepower, 829 pound-feet of torque, truck-of-the-future.

On their reimagining of what a pickup can be, Founder and CEO RJ Scaringe remarked, “That’s what’s driven me and the team over the last decade—the desire to develop a product that is remarkably different than what’s out there today.” We think the video illustrates this statement pretty well.

You can’t purchase one quite yet, but you can pre-order your R1T on Rivian’s website.
