Earlier this week, Overland Journal launched Episode One of a three-part original fly-and-drive video series titled Destinations: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This series follows the adventures of Richard Giordano and myself (Desk to Glory) as we travel through Saudi Arabia in a rented Toyota Fortuner. This episode sees us overlanding through Wadi Al Disah, a popular destination in the Tabuk province of Saudi Arabia, where tourists and locals come together to camp, drive, and enjoy a cup of Arabic coffee. Our Toyota Fortuner battles water, sand, and narrow tracks, as we cruise through the wadi with Swiss overlanders Marcel and Chiara of Overland Vagabond.
