Overlanders always preach that travel is for everyone. That you don’t need to be rich, famous, or a world-class photographer just to hit the road—but it doesn’t always feel that way. That’s why we love people like Tim and Kelsey, two regular and wonderful people who decided that they weren’t willing to wait on their dreams of travel any longer, and set out to find adventure. While we’ve been following their Instagram page for some time now, this recent video release gives you some more insight into their travels. Plus, the end is packed with some great footage of their pop-top 80 sloshing through jungle roads and down sandy beaches, and who doesn’t love that?

Chris Cordes
Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Chris didn’t receive a real taste of the outdoors until moving to Prescott, Arizona, in 2009. While working on his business degree, he learned to fly and spent his weekends exploring the Arizona desert and high country. It was there that he fell in love with backcountry travel and four-wheel drive vehicles, eventually leading him to Overland Journal and Expedition Portal. After several years of honing his skills in writing, photography, and off-road driving, Chris now works for the company full time as Expedition Portal's Senior Editor while living full-time on the road.

February 21st, 2019 at 6:30 amI’d say that’s pretty judgmental not knowing them or their background. I know them personally and what it took to do this. Their credentials, knowledge and know how go beyond most in the “Overland” community. I would say they are the exact opposite of your judgment, and as real as it gets.
