The GS Trophy Comes to North America

For the first time since it began in 2008 in the shifting sands and rocky terrain of Tunisia, the BMW Motorrad International GS Trophy will be held in North America. A total of 16 qualifying teams from 18 nations will convene on western Canada to the Provinces of British Columbia and Alberta to compete in this nine day event heralded as the Olympics for GS riders. Previous editions of the GS Trophy have been held in Tunisia, southern Africa, and South America. The 2014 event will be held in September with teams from around the globe competing for top honors. The Rocky Mountains should make for a majestic backdrop to this already rugged event.
