The wait is nearly over. Clay Croft’s documentary on the first north-south crossing of the world’s largest island, Expedition: Greenland, will soon hit theaters across the US, and the official trailer has dropped.
Expedition: Greenland follows a fearless team of seven as they embark on an extraordinary quest to become the first to traverse the long axis of Greenland’s remote and uncharted ice sheet, utilizing specialized Arctic Trucks. This breathtaking journey is captured through the lens of a single camera and a drone, showcasing the stunning beauty and harsh terrain of the landscape.
The team consisted of director Clay Croft, along with Greg Miller, Kurt Williams, Torfi Jóhannsson, Emil Grimsson, Scott Brady, and Jon Solberg. Positioned between the Atlantic and Arctic oceans, Greenland is nearly completely covered with snow and ice, including the Greenland Ice Sheet, which is one of the largest ice fields on the planet.

A culmination of the renowned Expedition 7’s multi-year effort to bring overland travel to all seven continents, the Greenland expedition proved to be one of the most harrowing treks for the team’s seasoned members. If you love adventure at its uttermost limits, you won’t want to miss this stunning documentary.
The film premieres on September 5 in select theaters across the country and will be available on video-on-demand on September 23. There will be a special screening on Saturday, September 6, at the Megaplex in Sandy, UT, that will include a live Q&A session after the film. Tickets are available now.
