Rev’It Invests in Travel Startup Motourismo

I’ve enjoyed using Rev’It riding gear for more than half a decade now, so I’m always excited to hear about news and products from the company. This one threw me off a little, only because I didn’t immediately see the connection between a leading apparel brand partnering with an online motorcycle travel company. But, as Ivan Vos, managing director of Rev’It Sport International, says in the press release below, the company’s mission is to inspire people to ride.

That’s what all of us working within the moto industry hope to accomplish, and Motourismo is no different. This new travel startup promises to inspire like-minded people by providing a platform for booking short day trips or long-distance travel packages. Motourismo will also offer motorcycle training and shipping options for customers.

Rev’It has joined forces with Motourismo, the online motorcycle travel startup platform, to offer specialized two-wheeled travel for a global audience.

“We are very excited to be part of Motorismo’s journey into the future,” says Ivan Vos, managing director of Rev’It Sport International. “As a leading apparel brand in the motorcycle industry, our mission is to inspire people to ride. We do this not only by developing high-performance, well-designed, and certified motorcycle apparel, but now also by offering specialized services and unique customer experiences.”

Ivan continues. “Bringing the benefits of the Motorismo platform to the attention of our global customer base, we provide access to a unique service and the opportunity for great riding experiences. At the same time, Motourismo benefits from our reach through a variety of marketing-communication channels and may expect new platform users coming from the global Rev’It riding community.”

Motorcyclists around the world can now search on Motourismo for experiences of like-minded people, get inspired, as well as directly book short day trips to long-distance travel packages lasting several weeks. The portfolio is supplemented by motorcycle training courses and motorcycle shipping. In the future, more categories are planned to be added.
