First up in this week’s overland news is the Ulti Stove System, which promises to be the most wind-resistant and powerful cooking solution the company has ever made. Intended for the harshest conditions, the all-in-one stove can be used with gloves and incorporates a burner that utilizes both catalytic combustion and infrared radiation to create a 10,000 BTU (3,000-watt) heat source. When not in use, the burner legs hold the valve and hose into the base of the burner which can then be packed conveniently into the pot. The Ulti is available in two sizes (1 and 1.7 liters).

Tailfin has been on a roll over the past few years with a series of innovative bicycle bags and accessories. The company’s latest offering, the Long Top tube bag, is no exception. It’s available in three sizes (1.6, 2.2, and 3 liters), features V-mount hardware to prevent movement, and can be secured to the top tube with dedicated TPU straps or frame fit/direct mounting. The 3D tapered shape and carbon stiffeners ensure minimal knee rub and bulging when fully loaded. Land Rover Defender Extends Partnership with Tusk :: Overland News

Defender extends partnership with leading conservation charity Tusk to protect endangered species and biodiversity in Africa. The announcement comes after almost two decades of collaboration and will support six of Tusk’s project partners (including Save the Rhino Trust, Wild Entrust, and Vulpro) with further vehicle provisions and grants. Over the next three years, the projects will undertake critical conservation activities that include tracking, surveying, rescuing and rehabilitating endangered species, and protecting habitats. Defender will also assist with education and community engagement to encourage long-term protection and advocacy of wildlife and ecosystems.
