New Land Cruiser FJ is Unveiled
The new FJ is a scaled-down version of the LC 250, and promises to be a more accessible/fun offering within the range. The model is powered by a 2.7-liter gas motor and utilizes the platform refined in the IMV series to ensure an impressive approach angle and ground clearance. In addition, the shorter wheelbase (270 millimeters less than the 250 series) will supply elevated maneuverability in backcountry scenarios. Despite its cutesy appearance, the FJ remains function-first with a practical interior and removable front and rear corner bumpers that allow damaged parts to be easily removed or replaced with aftermarket alternatives.

Over the years, I’ve used an array of Biolite products and they’ve always met or exceeded my expectations (most recently, I field-tested the BioLite AlpenGlow Mini). The company has recently released the Range 500, which is a USB-C fast charging headlamp (an eight-minute charge provides an hour of runtime) that’s both waterproof and submersible.
