ADVENTURE DAYS 2019
RawHyde is thrilled to announce that Adventure Days 2019 will be the inaugural event at our newest and most unique facility – Zakar!
In the heart of the Mojave Desert amongst the gnarled and majestic Joshua Trees is the post-apocalyptic fortress of Zakar. It is here at our Adventure Days event that the Overland community will be introduced to Zakar!
We’re equally pleased to announce that we are hosting Adventure Days in partnership with Sportsmobile, the originator of the “Overlanding” concept. To learn more about Sportsmobile click here;
So what is Adventure Days exactly? – Well – it’s an event from RawHyde designed to help you learn anything and everything you’ve ever wanted to know about the world of Overland Adventure Travel. Adventure Days also provides a great opportunity to do some backcountry exploring with your machines, enjoy the camaraderie of a shared “Adventure” and generally have a whole bunch of fun with great people over a long weekend. The event is part Rally, Part Expo, and part Tradeshow!
Many companies from the Adventure and Overland Market will be present showing off their latest products (see vendor list below) and there will be a strong focus on education and knowledge. For example, we’ll be hosting GPS seminars, suspension and setup classes, tire changing and bead breaking clinics, off-road riding and driving clinics, packing clinics, etc.

December 20th, 2018 at 6:13 pmAre they aware that ZAKAR means penis in Malay (a major language spoken in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore)? I found that out the hard way when I ‘Googled’ looking for photos of the facility.

December 25th, 2018 at 5:15 amZakar is a Hebrew word used in the Old Testament meaning to remember, recall, or call to mind. Zakar is also an Assyrian supreme deity. There is also a Zakar crater in Ganymede. I didn’t have the same google search experience you did, in fact there was no reference to any part of anatomy. This could be because the Google search algorithm is based on your personal search history and known interest.
