Overland Classifieds :: Expedition Overland’s 2016 Toyota Tacoma – SOLD

It’s safe to say that the Tacoma is one of the most popular trucks on our forum. We’ve featured numerous expedition-equipped builds, including a 2016 TRD Off-Road w/ 2018 FWC Fleet Flatbed, a 2019 TRD Off-Road, and a 2016 Expedition Build. Today’s Tacoma, built by the legendary outfit Expedition Overland, might be the most impressive to date. The team is highly regarded for its years of authentic overlanding experience with well-documented adventures all over the world (they’re currently embarked overseas on their Scandinavian Nordic Series,) Their trips can be enjoyed on YouTube or via the team’s exciting new video platform, the Overlander Network. In short, their vehicles are not built for show, but for purpose and are subsequently always expedition-proven. Additionally, if you did take the plunge, then rest assured this rig is genuinely turnkey and mechanically sound. This is because all of the company’s vehicles are “meticulously reviewed by our in-house team as well as by XO-endorsed professional technicians to identify any mechanical issues, repair and replace any damaged or faulty item, and thoroughly service the entire vehicle from bumper-to-bumper.” At $80,000 this is not a cheap vehicle, but it’s good value when you consider the extensive list of modifications, accessories, premium A/T Habitat canopy (more than $10,000 alone), and the crucial 175 hours of skilled shop labor invested into this build.

From the Seller:

At X Overland, we have always been and continue to be huge fans of the Toyota Tacoma platform. The X3 Meridian is one of our favorite Tacoma builds of all time and has proven itself with us on a wide variety of expeditions. Whether we were heading to the tip of South America, the deserts of Baja, or to the snows of the Arctic, X3 took us there reliably and comfortably.

This overland-built Tacoma is truly a truck that is equipped for world travel but is equally perfect for myriad forms of recreational use. Hunters, anglers, rock climbers, mountain bikers, hikers, and outdoor enthusiasts of all kinds will appreciate the exceptional capability and comfort of this truck.
