Overland Classifieds :: EarthRoamer #28

During the pandemic, many people chose to explore areas closer to home rather than flying overseas for their vacations. Consequently, there was a huge demand for campers, RVs, and overland rigs, which meant the cost of used vehicles skyrocketed. It’s safe to say that things got a little crazy, but fortunately, there are signs that prices are finally becoming more sensible.

I recently shared this $219,000 2015 EarthCruiser FX, which is a relative bargain when you consider comparable models sold for over $300,000 last year (check out this $334,900 EarthCruiser #64 for reference). Similarly, today’s EarthRoamer #28 is advertised at “just” $200,000, which is excellent value compared to the 2014 EarthRoamer listed on our forum for $350,000 in mid-2021. I appreciate these are still very expensive vehicles, but with new EarthRoamers retailing for over $500,000, this is a fantastic opportunity to purchase a well-maintained used example for a third of the price.

From the Seller:

We are now a family of five, so we want something bigger (like an HD or larger GXV if you want to trade). This is a reluctant sale, and there are none out there at this price, and a way better bang for your buck than building a Sprinter. Other things we’d happily include for a full price offer: heavy-duty sand boards/bridging boards, OneUp bike rack, and a Mexico import sticker. This will let you drive anywhere in Mexico and cross the border without the rigamarole of importing. [The sticker]has 5+ years left;we’ll leave it on the vehicle and eat the expense of not returning it.”
