Overland Classifieds :: 2021 Toyota Land Cruiser URJ200 Heritage Edition – Expeditions 7

The perfect overland rig doesn’t exiss… Oh, hold up. Is that a 5.7-liter V8-powered Toyota Land Cruiser 200-Series Heritage Edition with a fully equipped Maltec Expedition cabin? I stand corrected. Truth be told, I understand that perfection is in the eye of the beholder, but it’s safe to say that purposeful adventure-ready vehicles don’t come much better than today’s 200 Series. This drool-worthy rig is one of seven custom expedition campers built in partnership with German overland experts Maltec to commemorate Expeditions 7. This epic adventure was completed over three years and saw the team cross all seven continents in 78-Series Land Cruisers. Today’s “Europe” edition is finished in Blizzard Pearl and has covered just 61 miles. The build takes the already supremely capable Land Cruiser and further uprates it for the road less travelled with highlights that include front and rear ARB air lockers, Old Man Emu springs and shocks, a Warn Zeon winch, Safari snorkel, and much more. These rugged credentials are balanced with a luxurious cab and a custom, fully-equipped Maltec habitation box. This Expeditions 7 Land Cruiser is listed on Bring a Trailer, and at the time of writing, bidding is at $165,000. If you’re looking for the ultimate turnkey rig to drive around the world, this is it.

In addition to the mods mentioned above, today’s 200 Series showcases a body-on-frame design, full-time 4WD, a dual-range transfer case, a Torsen Limited-Slip center differential, and multiple recovery points. It also comes factory-equipped with Multi-Terrain Select, Crawl Control, and Off-Road Turn Assist. These rugged credentials are mated with sumptuous interior luxury with driver comforts that include:
