Overland Classifieds :: 2020 Ram 2500 w/ 2022 Overland Explorer Vehicles Flatbed Camper

The Toyota Tacoma’s domination of our forum has been recently challenged by a number of high-spec Rams, including this 2013 2500 and a 2020 3500. At $189,000, this 2020 Ram is the most expensive to date and was built by the gentleman who owns Off-Grid Engineering and co-owns Boulder Vehicle Outfitters. I appreciate that this price point won’t be for everyone. The owner states that “a detailed spreadsheet of all costs is available to be shared with serious buyers” and documents “approximately” $200,000 of expenditure.” It’s also important to distinguish that this is a professionally outfitted vehicle, built on a premium Ram with the optional Big Horn, 4×4 Off-road, and Night Edition packages from the factory (and is still under warranty). Further still, the truck has been extensively modified with premium parts to enhance its go-anywhere capability and incorporates a fully equipped 2022 Overland Explorer Vehicles camper.

From the Seller:

I built [this truck] with every intention of traveling and enjoying it for the foreseeable future. Unfortunately, plans change, and running two businesses is a bit time-consuming. I feel it’s best to let this one go to a good home for now. This truck was built sparing no expense. I have listed every part and custom modification (see PDF build sheet [see original ad linked below]) that I can think of, but, inevitably, there’s probably more that I forgot. This build is absolutely dialed in, and we have since replicated this truck for several clients using the same recipe. Most parts have less than 5,000 miles on them, and the camper has one three-day trip in it.”

2020 Ram 2500 with 2022 OEV Flatbed Camper

The 2020 Ram 2500 is fitted with a 6.7-liter Cummins turbo-diesel engine that, in standard output, produces 370 horsepower and a huge 850 pound-feet of torque (the high-output version offers 400 horsepower and a colossal 1,000 pound-feet of torque). A powerful motor is matched with interior comforts such as cruise control, front and rear cupholders, keyless ignition, power steering, air-conditioning, power windows, heated mirrors, and more. This 2020 example also benefits from the Big Horn Package that showcases an 8.4-inch infotainment system, 360-degree camera, and premium center console. It has also been specified with the 4×4 Off-Road Package, which provides skid plates, limited-slip rear differential, and Bilstein shocks.
