Overland Classifieds :: 2018 Toyota Tundra Crewmax 1794 Edition w/ RSI Cap

The Tundra is undoubtedly one of the best full-size trucks money can buy and is a desirable option for overland builds. It’s neither the most powerful nor the most economical or luxurious, but it makes up for this with class-leading reliability, build quality, and capability. In addition, it showcases up to a 1,730-pound payload and a 10,200-pound towing capacity. These credentials make the Tundra a fantastic option for heavier expedition builds. Recent examples include this 2021 TRD Pro with an A/T Summit camper, a 2011 TRD Off-Road with a Four Wheel Campers Hawk, and a 2017 with a FWC Flatbed and Norweld Tray. It’s a favorite with the Expedition Portal team and was discussed at length during a recent podcast with Bound for Nowhere. It’s also worth noting that the 5.7-liter V8 may not be the most economical, but its reliability is legendary, with many well-maintained examples exceeding 500,000 miles. Unfortunately, the latest generation of Tundra has been riddled with problems, which means that older V8 models will be increasingly sought after. Today’s 2018 offering is a desirable 1794 Edition and features the TRD Off Road Package, premium modifications, and is topped with an RSI Smart Cap.

From the Seller:

No mechanical issues, no accidents. This was our dream truck, and we took care of it with plans to keep it forever. It has some minor pinstriping from getting to those out-of-the-way campsites. This truck is in great shape and ready to take you on your next adventure.”

2018 Toyota Tundra Crewmax 1794 Edition

The Tundra is fitted with a 5.7-liter motor that produces 381 horsepower, 401 pound-feet of torque, and returns a combined 15 mpg. A powerful V8 engine provides surprisingly brisk on-road performance and will sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 6.5 seconds. However, when the tarmac ends, the Tundra excels thanks to 4WD, high and low range, Bilstein shocks, skid plates, and more. Today’s offering is a desirable 1794 Edition and is exceptionally well equipped with driver comforts that include:

  • Dual-zone air conditioning
  • Powered, heated, and ventilated leather seats
  • Active cruise control
  • Premium Entune audio
  • Rear parking camera

Distinguishing Features

  • RSI Smart Cap and drawers
  • Bilstein 5100 shocks, Icon 51200 add-a-leaf, and a 2-inch lift
  • BFGoodrich KO2 tires

This 2018 Toyota Tundra Crewmax 1794 Edition with RSI cap is listed for $48,500 and is currently located in Portland, Oregon. Check the full vehicle specifications via the original Expedition Portal forum post here.
