Overland Classifieds :: 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT 4×4

The Full-Size Revolution continues with more overlanders than ever before transitioning from mid- to full-size trucks. The latest full-size offerings are marginally more expensive to run than their mid-size counterparts yet provide greater payload and towing capacity, increased power, larger and better-equipped interiors, and in some cases, improved capability. Furthermore, with more people committing to long-term trips or transitioning to full-time travel, these bigger rigs provide the perfect platform for a well-equipped camper or habitation box. The Sierra 1500 is a favorite with the team here at Expedition Portal, with the AT4 variant being chosen as an Overland Journal project vehicle. If you’d like additional inspiration, check out these adventure-ready Sierra builds from Overland Expo and Overland Alberta. Today’s 2017 model has covered just 81,450 miles, showcases the SLT trim premium modifications, and is topped with an OFFGRID Camper roof-top tent.
