Overland Classifieds :: 2016 Ram 2500

The Ram 2500 owes much of its popularity to powerful and long-lived engines, excellent 4WD performance, generous payload and towing capacity, and luxurious trim packages. We’ve recently shared several overland-ready examples, such as this 2021 6.4-liter Hemi w/ FWC and a 2020 w/ OEV Flatbed Camper. Today’s offering is a more unusual 6-speed manual, which showcases a low-mileage (83,491 miles) Cummins diesel engine and many desirable factory options. In addition, it has received a Calibrated Power Solutions engine tune, which addresses Cummins’ infamous “dead pedal” issue without impacting the emissions test (passed the Colorado diesel test in March 2022). The seller will also consider including a Ranch topper, Timbren bump stops, and a Hellwig swaybar if a buyer is interested. If you’d like to know more about the Ram 2500 and why it’s a fantastic option for vehicle travel, check out Matt Swartz’s Ram 2500 Overland Build or view his progress on the Expedition Portal Youtube channel.

From the Seller:

The truck has been an outstanding vehicle, but I don’t tow, so we’ve decided to switch to a Power Wagon. This was one of the last years that Ram offered the manual transmission, and it’s a lot of fun to drive. The manual transmission trucks are also geared a little lower than the automatics, so sizing up to 35s was no problem.”
