Many overlanders believe South African camping products are far superior to their competitors, from the canvas they use for their rooftop tents to the aluminum water tanks you find on their camping trailers. We knew it to be true when we met Jen and Jared at California’s Anza-Borrego Desert State Park with their rugged South African-made trailer.
Jen and Jared traveled around Southern and Eastern Africa with this beauty for over two years. They registered and titled the trailer legally in Oregon with US specifications and VIN upon their return to the US. This trailer was one of the few Conquerors manufactured in South Africa before production moved to China, and the trailers gained an additional 25% more weight.
From the Seller:
“We have used it as our home base and have taken excellent care of it, including proper bearing services. It tows wonderfully and doesn’t notice rough and off-camber trails.”
