Overland Classifieds :: 2009 Toyota Tacoma 4×4 TRD Pro Off-Road w/ Super Pacific X1 Wedge

The Tacoma was first introduced to the US market in 1995 as a replacement for the Hilux and promised improved comfort, safety, handling, and ride quality. The result was a truck that retained much of the Hilux’s rugged dependability while showcasing a new level of refinement. This winning formula ensured the Tacoma could continue the Hilux’s legacy as a commercial workhorse while also establishing itself as a valid option for recreational usage. The Tacoma is now the most popular vehicle platform on our forum, with recent examples including this 2002 TRD Off-Road w/ Flatbed, a 1995 w/ Custom FlipPac Camper, and a 2016 TRD Sport Overland Build. The introduction of the SR5, TRD (Toyota Racing Development) Off-Road, and TRD Pro packages further bolstered the truck’s overlanding credentials, with a smorgasbord of rugged all-terrain features that have made the Tacoma’s capability class-leading. Today’s TRD Pro Off-Road double cab has covered 104,000 miles, incorporates some tasteful upgrades and accessories, and is finished with a Super Pacific X1 Wedge camper.
