Overland Classifieds :: 2000 Ford E350 EB 7.3L Sportsmobile UJOR 4×4 with CCV Top

2000 sportsmobile van

Sportsmobile is a well-established name in the overland and off-highway vehicle space and there’s a reason for that: they know how to upfit recreational vehicles with functional living spaces. Sportsmobile converts Promasters, Transits, and Sprinters, and they are best recognized for their Ford E-van pop-top conversions. Although today’s vehicle was originally built out by Sportmobile, the interior has since been stripped due to wear and tear and is ready to be completed by its next owner.

This is a 2000 Ford E-350 campervan conversion with a high-roof pop-top and a TON of performance upgrades. Of particular note is the brand new 7.3-liter turbo-diesel motor that was recently installed by Performance Diesel in Loveland, Colorado. The seller calls the interior fully functional, and for the right buyer, the opportunity to finish the vehicle to their liking could be a blessing. The van currently has a refrigerator, 12-volt air conditioning, heating, and a solar electrical system.

From the Seller:

“Up for sale is our beast of a van, a 2000 Ford E350 EB 7.3L UJOR 4×4 with CCV high top and custom interior. There are a ton of details on this build, a lot of money has been spent and the vehicle has been completely gone through from the ground up mechanically. Over the last six years we’ve been building this van to last another lifetime, but our growing family has outgrown the van platform. This setup was built around a family of four, not as great for a family of five. The van is fully ready to go anywhere. There are a few last items of the build to be finished up but these aren’t major and we’ve been taking multi-day road trips in the vehicle as-is.”

Ford E-350 Van

The model year 2000 Ford E-350 cargo van was offered in eight different trims, all of which had a towing capacity of 10,000-pounds, with varying cargo capacities ranging from approximately 2,800- to 4,100-pounds. Ford discontinued the sale of Econoline passenger vans in 2015 – the Transit now fulfills that need – and currently only sells the E-350 as a cutaway or stripped chassis.
