New 2024 Jeep Wrangler Range to be the Most Capable Ever

The latest iteration of one of the world’s most iconic and off-road capable SUVs, the Jeep Wrangler, promises greater capability, advanced safety features, and new technology while staying true to the Wrangler formula. Jeep claims that the 2024 model delivers the freedom to “go anywhere and do anything” and is taking the Wrangler’s capabilities to new heights with its first full-float Dana rear axle, a new factory Warn winch with an increased 5,000-pound tow capability.

The interior features available power front seats, a standard 12.3-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen radio, and standard side curtain airbags in the first and second rows. The upgrades to the range are comprehensive, but not all models within the range receive the same upgrades. For instance, the Rubicon receives upgrades that are specifically aimed at off-road capability, while upgrades to other models within the Wrangler range are more aesthetic than purely functional.

With nearly 5 million Wranglers sold globally, the 2024 Jeep Wrangler will be available with four different powertrain options, including the electrified 4xe—the best-selling PHEV in America. The Jeep Wrangler range includes the Sport, Willys, Sahara, High Altitude, Rubicon, Rubicon 392, and 4xe models.

The 2024 Jeep Wrangler’s off-road capability is bolstered by four advanced 4×4 systems, crawl ratios of up to 100:1, water fording of up to 34 inches, and excellent approach, departure, and break-over angles and ground clearance. Every Wrangler model’s Trail Rated badge reflects a specific trim, which now includes the all-new next-generation Dana 44 HD full-float rear axle on Rubicon models. The new Wrangler Rubicon models are available with a factory-installed 8,000-pound-capacity Warn winch mounted in a steel front bumper with removable end caps. The Wrangler Willys now features a standard Tru-Lok rear locker, trailer tow, steel rock rails, and heavy-duty electrical group with larger 33-inch tires.

Built on a proven body-on-frame design and featuring a finely engineered five-link suspension system, the new 2024 Wrangler delivers off-road capability, refined on-road dynamics, and advanced safety features. To protect critical vehicle components, Wrangler features four skid plates, and Willys and Rubicon models benefit from rugged tubular steel rock rails.

Lightweight, high-strength aluminum closures, including doors, door hinges, fender flares, hood, magnesium swing gate, and a windshield frame help reduce weight and boost fuel economy. The front and rear suspension features high-strength steel control arms.

The 2024 Jeep Wrangler lineup has been expanded and updated with new models, features, and standard equipment, offering a range of options for off-road enthusiasts. The Sport S, High Altitude, Rubicon X, and Rubicon 392 models now come standard with cruise control and forward collision warning stop, while ParkSense rear park-assist system and blind-spot with cross-path detection are standard on High Altitude, Rubicon X, and Rubicon 392 models.

The 2024 Wrangler features new grille and wheel designs, as well as multiple open-air options for further customization. The interior has been refined with premium features and technology, such as a new 12.3-inch touchscreen with the fifth-generation Uconnect 5 system, improved hands-free voice recognition, and an available Trails Offroad comprehensive trail guide system for easier off-road trip planning.

New models, such as the Wrangler Sport S 4xe and the Wrangler Rubicon X, have been introduced to the lineup, adding more powertrain and feature options for customers. Additionally, the 2024 Wrangler lineup now offers more standard equipment across all models.

Available in Sport, Sahara, Willys, High Altitude, Rubicon, and Rubicon 392 models, the 2024 Jeep Wrangler is open for ordering now, with vehicles arriving in U.S. dealerships later in 2023. The vehicle will also be available in markets worldwide.
