La Aduana: 2012 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon JK8

alt

The Jeep Wrangler has always been a very capable, and well received vehicle in the overland community. With a selectable wheelbase, low price tag, simplistic design and rugged durability it’s easy to understand why over 160,000 people bought the latest model, the JK, in the U.S. and Canada alone just last year. Few of those, however, are as well equipped, or astoundingly capable as this Rubicon model JK-8 we’ve found today.

At the heart of this wrangler lies the new 3.6 liter Pentastar V6, which gives the JK the power it deserves with 285 hp and 265 lb-ft of torque. The added Rubicon package includes front and rear electronic locking differentials, two Dana 44 axles, and a 4:1 low range transfer case to help you crawl through any tough situation you may find yourself in. After leaving the factory this vehicle received a Mopar JK-8 conversion package along with a Rhino lined tub and a full AEV JK350 package.
